Picture shows James Norton getting ready to swim in the River Cam in Grantchester,Cambs,on Thursday Sept 10th..Norton was filming a scene for the ITV crime drama Grantchester.
Heartthrob James Norton was spotted in his PANTS today (Thurs) as he stripped off and swam in a river in scenes reminiscent of Mr Darcy's famous lake scene in the BBC's Pride and Prejudice.
The 30-year-old stripped down to his UNDIES as he filmed a scene for the second series of ITV's crime drama, Grantchester.
Norton, who plays VICAR Sidney Chambers in the detective series, surprised onlookers by taking off his shirt and trousers and diving into the water in his grey boxer shorts with fellow actor Robson Green, who plays Detective Inspector Geordie Keating.
The scene will please his growing army of female fans, when it is screened early next year.
It is likely to be compared to the BBC's adaptation of Pride and Prejudice in which Mr Darcy, played by Colin Firth, swims in a lake, then walks around in a wet shirt.
