Pic shows Cambridge student and the current Miss England Carina Tyrrell back in Cambridge enjoying the good weather on the River Cam on Tuesday August 19th.
The newly-crowned Miss England made the most of the sunny weather today (Tues) as she returned to Cambridge - after spending the summer saving the world.
Student doctor Carina Tyrrell has been working with the World Health Organisation in Geneva in Switzerland for the last two months.
She has been helping to find a cure for the most common infections for young children in Africa, including malaria.
But the 24-year-old, who is studying medicine at Cambridge University's Murray Edwards College was spotted on the River Cam today, enjoying the last few days of summer.
Carina, who beat 60 contestants to win the Miss England title earlier this summer, showed off her punting skills as she glided down the river.
She has decided to take a year out from her university studies to focus on her Miss England projects, which include preparing for the Miss World competition in London this December.
