Choristers sang on the roof of magnificent Ely Cathedral this morning (Tues) as they rehearse for a busy festive season.
Stunning aerial photos show the choir boys and girls performing on the roof of the Norman cathedral in the heart of the Cambridgeshire Fens.
The 11 boys and 11 girls got up early and climbed to the top of the Gothic cathedral to practise for their Christmas performances.
The youngsters, who are all members of King’s Ely and aged between 7 and 16, rehearse four mornings a week before school and sing Evensong daily during term time.
