Choristers have been practising for the traditional pancake race at Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire tomorrow (Tues).
The resident choristers all wore their red cassocks as they flipped pancakes inside and outside the cathedral to mark Shrove Tuesday.
Each year around 20 choristers race down the nave of the 12th Century Cathedral after Evensong. It is the third longest nave in the UK, measuring 75 metres.
