RACEHORSES ON THE GALLOPS IN NEWMARKET SUFFOLK ON FRIDAY MORNING DESPITE THE SUB ZERO TEMPERATURES AND THE OVERNIGHT SNOWFALL... Race horses were out training as usual this morning (Fri) despite the snow and ice...The horses were seen galloping along the all-weather track in Newmarket, Suffolk...Most race meetings across the country have been cancelled this weekend due to the cold snap, with many race courses frozen over or covered in snow...Meetings have been cancelled at Uttoxeter and Warwick as the courses are frozen solid and show no signs of thawing...Point-to-pint races have also been called off at Cottenham, Cambs and Godstone in Surrey.
